A b o u t

Germán García Pérez (Granada, Spain, 1996) began studying the piano at an early age with Andrey Reznik and Javier Herreros. He went on to study with Alexan-der Kandelaki at the Higher Conservatory of Music of Badajoz, where he graduated with First-Class Honours and received the Extraordinary Graduation Award by unanimous decision.
      He subsequently continued his studies at the conservatories in The Hague and Amsterdam, comple-ting a Master’s degree in Performance under the gui-dance of Naum Grubert. He later pursued a Master’s degree in Collaborative Piano and Repertoire at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid. His musical development has also been enriched by working with distinguished pianists and teachers including Ángel Sanzo, Luis Fernando Pérez, Eldar Nebolsin, David Kuyken, Marta Gulyas and Claudio Martínez-Mehner, among others.
      Since an early age, García Pérez has maintained an active performing career as both a soloist and chamber musician. He has appeared at major concert venues and festivals and has won First Prizes at competitions including Ciudad de Linares «Marisa Montiel», Ciutat de Carlet and Ciudad de Albacete.
      Alongside his performing career, he is currently Professor of Piano at the Higher Conservatory of Music of Oviedo.
