Germán García Pérez (Granada, Spain, 1996) began his piano studies in his hometown with Andrey Reznik and Javier Herreros. He subsequently studied for his Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance with Alexander Kandelaki at the Badajoz Conservatory of Music, where he graduated with the highest honours and received the Extraordinary Graduation Award.
He continued his studies at the conservatories of The Hague and Amsterdam under the guidance of Naum Grubert, earning a Master’s degree in Piano Performance. He also completed a Master’s degree in Collaborative Piano and Piano Accompaniment at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid. Throughout his training, he has benefited from the guidance of distinguished pianists and pedagogues, including Ángel Sanzo, Luis Fernando Pérez, Eldar Nebolsin, David Kuyken, Marta Gulyás and Claudio Martínez-Mehner.
Germán García Pérez pursues an active career as a soloist and chamber musician, performing at prestigious venues and festivals. His achievements have been recognised with first prizes at competitions including the Ciudad de Linares Marisa Montiel, the Ciutat de Carlet and the Ciudad de Albacete. His playing combines outstanding technical command with a distinctive artistic sensibility. Critics have praised his ability to unite interpretative rigour, lyricism and expressive intensity.
He currently combines his concert career with teaching as Professor of Piano at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Oviedo (CONSMUPA), Spain.
